Notater:
It was Boi Peter Bundesen, son of Boi Peter Bundesen and Catherine Baackman who was married in Victoria, Australia. He obviously came for the gold. Victoria was very rich in gold and people flooded in from all over the world. My father`s grandfather & grandmother emigrated from England to South Australia in 1850. Then in 1853 like so many South Australia went overland to Victoria as soon as word of the gold was known. All their children died on the goldfields around Victoria except my father`s father and uncle. I know Fryers Creek where Boi Peter was mining. I can check the goldfield sites for any information on him. There is no birth registration for his daughter, Maria Frederica Bundesen. Many births went unregistered in Victoria in the early days. Only one of my fathers grandfathers children`s births were registered. All their deaths were registered so that is how we came to know them. Next time we are at the library I can find emigrations. also I notice Amalie gotting was a widow. There is a marriage record for Amalie Kother marrying Fredrick Gotting in 1861 , in Victoria. ( I think Amalie`s father is Andreas Kother on her marriage to Peter Bundesen). Amalie and her first husband had one child, Amalie b. 1853.It looks like Fredrick Gotting died in March 1863. Boi Peter bundesen`s life is slowely unfolding.
